French Exam Preparation

TEST OF ORAL PROFICIENCY (TOP)

Who               -Present or future federal government employees.

Where           -Client's location or online.

When             -The course duration and class frequency are determined by the student’s learning objectives and current skill and language proficiency levels.

                        -Convenient AM and PM schedules.

 Why                -To prepare to successfully pass the PSC SLE TOP. The PSC SLE TOP is a standardized exam consisting of four distinct parts.

-In order to receive a level B or C in oral proficiency, the candidate must demonstrate certain linguistic competencies to the assessor during the assessment.

-A comprehensive examination in order to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of the student's linguistic ability.

 How                -A work plan to ensure the student learns and is able to apply the various French forms which are required for either a level B or C linguistic profile.

-Interview simulations to prepare the student for the actual assessment.

TEST OF WRITTEN EXPRESSION (TWE)

When             -The course duration and class frequency are determined by the student’s learning objectives and current skill and language proficiency levels.

                        -Convenient AM and PM schedules.

Why                -To prepare to successfully pass the PSC SLE TWE. The PSC SLE TWE is a standardized test consisting of 65 multiple choice questions which takes 1.5 hours to complete.

-To learn and acquire certain essential grammatical structures and certain business-related writing expressions.

                      -A comprehensive examination in order to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of the student's linguistic ability.

How                -A work plan to ensure the student learns and is able to apply the various French forms which are required for either a level B or C linguistic profile.

                        -Practice tests administered under similar test conditions.
